- First you need to ask your hairdresser for a grade 1 undercut, just like the ones in my previous blogs. It doesn't entirely matter what grade you get, but make sure it's shorter than the top.
- The top of your hair needs to be down to your nose at least.
Next you need the products to do this look, here is what I like to use:
- Hair mouse - I like to use this as it gives the hair more texture and better hold.
- A hair dryer - This is for blow drying!
- Wax - Any wax will do really; but I like to use Urban Fudge Matte Finish as it has an amazing hold and smells really nice!
- Hairspray - For any adjustments you need to make after you have finished and to keep the hair together.
After you have all these, and have the right cut, you can continue!
- Start with wet hair.
- Apply a handful of mouse, make sure you rub it all in!
- Your hair has a natural direction of growing, so hairdry against that and then dry it in its normal direction.
- After blow drying, use the wax to push your hair all to one side, using your fingers to add natural effect.
- Use the hairspray to adjust any little errors and then hold!
That is it! Here is a picture of what it should look like:
